Press release by Ádám Kósa - A conference titled 'How can logistics improve people's lives?' has been organized today in Brussels by EPP Group MEP Ádám Kósa (Fidesz) and the European Logistics Association (ELA). The aim of the event was to let European institutions, experts and the civil society reflect together on the future of logistics and the potential that lies in it, and to find out how logistics could become a main engine of the European economy in accordance with the EU2020 strategy.

Cutting a large figure at 184cm tall, his expressions are as dynamic as the movements of his fingers. Although he is not uttering a thing, the word 'eloquence' springs to mind. Mr Kosa visited Japan to explain about policies for physically challenged people in Europe, and spoke through sign language to Diet members and Japanese people in Tokyo in October.

Press release by Ádám Kósa MEP - On today's plenary sitting in Strasbourg, the Report of Belgian EPP Group MEP Matthieu Grosch on the single European transport area was adopted with a great majority. The document is the European Parliament's answer to the White Paper on Transport, issued by the European Commission in March 2011 to set the short and long-term objectives to be achieved in the field of transport until 2050. The Parliament calls upon the Commission in the Report to bring that intermediate measures that are essential for the Single European Transport Area.
